Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the North Langley Basketball Association ("NLBA", "we", "us", "our") website (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About this Site

NLBA is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit recreational basketball association serving youth in Langley, British Columbia and the surrounding communities. The Site is provided for general information about our programs, registration, events, and community.

2. Informational purpose and accuracy

We work to keep the information on the Site current and accurate, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or up to date. Program dates, fees, schedules, locations, and policies may change without notice. Registration, team rosters, schedules, and game results are administered through third-party platforms (such as TeamSnap); those platforms, not this Site, are the authoritative source for that information.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

  • interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
  • use the Site to transmit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content; or
  • copy, scrape, or reuse Site content except as permitted below.

4. Intellectual property

The NLBA name, logo, and Site content are the property of NLBA or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. The Basketball BC name and logo are the property of Basketball British Columbia and are used to indicate our affiliation. You may not use these marks without permission. You may view and print Site content for personal, non-commercial, informational use.

5. External links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (including TeamSnap, Basketball BC, and government resources). We provide these links for convenience and do not control or endorse those sites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NLBA and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to the Site, and the "Effective date" above will be updated. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in British Columbia.
